Iain Lumsden
Iain Lumsden has been a member of the Council since 2007. He is also our Honorary treasurer, a member of the Finance and General Purposes Committee and a pension fund trustee.Separately Iain is a director of Royal Blind in Edinburgh, where
he is a vice-chairman and the convener of Scottish War
Blinded.
Iain spent all his working life as an actuary with Standard Life,
retiring as group chief executive. Before that he was chief actuary
and group finance director for many years. He brings to the Council
his experience of business, finance, investment and pensions.
