Each of our clients require something different from their care. Our nursing care is designed to meet those individual needs, whether it's lifelong or short-term care to recover from surgery or illness or to provide a break for carers.

We have two nursing wings at our Brighton centre, with a total of 18 beds. We refurbished these in 2008 to be able to provide a higher quality of care to our members. In Llandudno we have five nursing rooms in our newly built Poppy Wing extension.

Both our Brighton and Llandudno centres are registered care homes, and are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England, and the Care and Social Services Inspectorate (CSSIW) in Wales.

Alongside their nursing qualifications, our nurses are specifically trained to care for visually impaired clients, who often have additional complex medical conditions. It isn't just the staff's medical knowledge that's important: it's their patience and commitment too.
