If you're celebrating a birthday, wedding anniversary, retirement or special occasion, why not ask your friends and family to donate to Blind Veterans UK instead of buying a gift?


It's a different way of marking an occasion, and it helps us in our essential work with blind and vision impaired ex-Service men and women.

Celebrate a good cause

We'll send you:

  • Donation envelopes to send out with invitations. We thank each donor individually and after your celebration we'll let you know who donated and how much you raised.
  • A collection box for your party. Just ask friends and family to bring any donations with them and then send them directly to us.

Donating online

You could set up a JustGiving page for your guests to make donations online in lieu of gifts and write messages to you. That's what Tom and Natalie have done for their upcoming wedding! 

Donating as a gift

You can also donate to celebrate someone's birthday, retirement or any other occasion. We'll send them a card to let them know about your donation or, if you prefer, send you the card to pass on.


Sending Blind Veterans UK e-cards

Sending an e-card is environmentally friendly, and lets you give to Blind Veterans UK while letting the recipient display it on their virtual mantelpiece. Each card sent raises at least £1, and you can add donations too. Visit Charity Greetings to start sending e-cards.
