Make your gifts worth more

Gift Aid can add almost a third to the value of your donation, without costing you any more. It works by letting us claim back tax you've already paid.

What do you need to do?

Gift Aid costs you nothing. You just need to tick the Gift Aid box when you make a donation, and we'll do the rest.

How Gift Aid works

Gift Aid lets us reclaim up to 25p tax in each pound back on your gift. So if you donate £10, it would be worth £12.50 to us if you've signed up for Gift Aid. If you're a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim relief on the difference between the basic and higher rate tax.

Gift Aid works for any donations: large or small, regular or one-off:

• Cash
• Cheques
• Postal orders
• Direct debits
• Standing orders
• Debit cards
• Credit cards
• Foreign currency
• Sponsorship pledges
