Join us for one of our new gifts in Wills events around the country to find out more about our vital work, meet our staff and hear from our beneficiaries the difference Blind Veterans UK has made to their lives. The sessions will also show how simple it is to leave a gift to Blind Veterans UK and the huge difference it can make.

Supporter event last November

The Imperial War Museum London - Wednesday 14 November

IWM_SITE_LAM_0009551Last November we hosted a very special supporter event, hosted by our Chief Executive, Robert Leader, at the lmperial War Museum (IWM) London, on Wednesday 14 November 2012. Long-term and new supporters were invited as well as those who showed an interest in leaving a gift in their Will to Blind Veterans UK. On the day supporters will heard directly from one of our beneficiaries about how Blind Veterans UK is transforming lives, saw firsthand how we support our blind ex-Service men and women and learned about the important role that donations and gifts in Wills play in the funding of our work.

IWM London tells the stories of people's experiences of war from the First World War to the present day. The impact of modern warfare on people and places can be seen in the Large Exhibits Gallery, which houses some of the most important weapons and vehicles of the twentieth century. Visit the Holocaust Exhibition and discover extraordinary stories of bravery in The Lord Ashcroft Gallery.

We will be holding more supporter events in the near future. If you are interested in attending an event place contact William Moore by email legacies@blindveterans.org.uk or by phone 020 7616 8365.
