Three cheers for our eventers!

Published on 22 Nov 2023

On Sunday 10 September, our amazing supporters braved the recent heatwave to take part in sporting events at opposite ends of the UK to raise a phenomenal amount of money for our charity.

The money raised will help us to provide our veterans with the life changing support, rehabilitation, training and equipment they need in order to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Cyclists saddled up to take part in the London to Brighton Cycle – a 55 mile ride from Clapham Common to the scenic Brighton seafront. While our runners took on the 13.1 mile Great North Run from Newcastle to the stunning coastline of South Shields.

Sponsorship is still coming in but in the meantime they have been sending us some fantastic pictures of their experiences.

As the smiling faces in the gallery below shows – they had a fantastic time!

We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of them.

In completing your challenge, you have helped blind veterans rebuild their lives after sightloss.

Would you like the opportunity to follow in their footsteps (and tyre treads)?
