When should you start training?
NOW! No matter what your fitness level, we recommend that you train for your 100K.
Lots of people say: 'It's just walking, how hard can it be?'.
But 24 hours on your feet is A LOT. So get out there and take a hike!
Take LOTS of hikes.
Night walks through the week. Longer hikes on weekends.
Ideally you should even do one or two 50K walks in the lead up to learn where any pressure points are in your foot wear.
Practice the best ways to wrap up your feet. Learn what socks work best for your body. Get a feel for what it's like to hike with your pack.

With enough training, you'll be blown away by what you can achieve. Past participants often comment, 'If I can do it, anyone can do it'.
