We are now looking for two reliable and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly care team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide a high standard of holistic care for members and other beneficiaries.

37.5 hours per week on a rolling shift roster to include both day and night shifts
£18,801 per annum, plus enhancement for working unsocial hours

Healthcare Assistants provide a care service to all members and other beneficiaries within the Care Department and to visiting members and other beneficiaries who stay at the Llandudno Centre for a holiday, training or respite care. 

This includes providing hands on care, assisting with personal care, serving food and feeding where necessary, washing and assisting with dressing. Other duties will include arranging and escorting members on trips, administering medication, assisting with writing and reading personal correspondence.  In addition, you will be required to risk assess, write care plans and daily care notes, evaluate the care delivered and liaise with other medical professionals. 

The post involves working on a rolling shift roster which includes weekends. Staff will also be required to work night shifts on a rotational basis for which an enhanced rate is payable.

You must be confident and friendly and have good communication and interpersonal skills. Previous care experience is preferred as well as a good understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant. An NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent) is essential.

This position will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
