We are looking for a professional and personable Membership Support Executive to act as the first point of contact for new applicants and to co-ordinate all administration relating to the admissions process into Blind Veterans UK.

Blind Veterans UK is the national charity helping blind ex-service men and women lead independent and fulfilling lives. We offer blind veterans access to the highest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss.

We are looking for a professional and personable Membership Support Executive to act as the first point of contact for new applicants and to co-ordinate all administration relating to the admissions process into Blind Veterans UK. 

Working as part of a team you will liaise closely with social services and ex-Service organisations, coordinate and host ophthalmic clinics, produce reports, provide advice and resolve admissions queries as well as formulating documentation, creating and maintaining paper and electronic files and updating our beneficiary database.

There is a requirement for regular national travel to attend Reunions and training courses with possible overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to manage the needs of people with a variety of physical disabilities.
