Registered Care Manager (Nursing & Residential) - Llandudno, North Wales
We have an opportunity at our Llandudno Centre to take responsibility for the provision of care services to vision impaired beneficiaries visiting the Centre for training, respite care, holidays and activity themed weeks.
- £40,000 per annum

Blind Veterans UK believes that no one who has served our country should have to battle blindness alone. We already deliver life-changing services to vision impaired ex-Service men and women in the UK.
An opportunity has now arisen at our Llandudno Centre to take responsibility for the provision of care services to vision impaired beneficiaries, many of whom have additional disabilities, visiting the Centre for training, respite care, holidays and activity themed weeks.
As a natural leader, your drive, energy and ability to embrace our ‘can do’ ethos, will help you to inspire and develop staff whilst at all times maintaining a passion for delivering the kindest possible care for our members and their relatives. This is a care home setting so you will be a qualified nurse with a current NMC registration as well as relevant experience working in a similar position within the sector.
Added to this you will be able to:
- Demonstrate your knowledge of and maintain professional care standards
- Implement and update policies, procedures and care standards so that staff act in accordance with legislation and best practice
- Keep calm under pressure and take decisive action when required
This position is subject to enhanced disclosure and barring service checks.
