Blind Veterans UK is the national charity helping blind ex-service men and women lead independent and fulfilling lives. We offer blind veterans access to the highest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss.
Over the next five years, we aim to increase the number of veterans we help and to make our services even better for our beneficiaries. So, we need to raise more money to fund our plans.
We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and resourceful individual to join our Income Generation team. The role focuses on securing transformational donations from Major Donors, Trusts and Foundations.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a sound track record in the following areas:
- Developing & implementing the strategy to win, retain and develop support from Major Donors, Trusts and Foundations.
- Managing a team (of circa 4 people) to win, manage and maximize the value of fundraising from Major Donors, Trusts and Foundations.
- To support the achievement of the above through campaigns, events, activities and Trust applications.
- To achieve / surpass fundraising targets for both Major Donors, Trusts and Foundations
The successful candidate will also have some people management experience and will be well versed in major gift fundraising processes.
