Sports & Wellbeing Practitioner
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Sport & Wellbeing Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary Rehabilitation team. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated practitioner, who has a passion for working collaboratively in a Rehabilitation Service.

Blind Veterans UK helps vision-impaired ex-Service men and women of every generation rebuild their lives after sight loss. Since 1915, we’ve provided rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support to tens of thousands of blind veterans.
Could you assess the health and wellbeing needs of our members and actively promote social inclusion to allow engagement in purposeful activity to maximise life beyond sight loss? Do you have experience in promoting healthy living, with an ability to motivate people to engage in physical activity to support their rehabilitation?
If so, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Sport & Wellbeing Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary Rehabilitation team. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated practitioner, who has a passion for working collaboratively in a Rehabilitation Service.
Experience of working with the elderly people with sight loss or other disabilities would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be able to multi task and have excellent time management, planning, communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be a confident user of technology and have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. A full UK driver’s licence is essential.
This position is subject to enhanced disclosure and barring service checks.
