Can you help us rebuild blind veterans' lives?

With a history going back over a hundred years, we’re one of the oldest charities in the country. We’re a team of over 500 people, all united in the mission of rebuilding lives after sight loss.

What we offer

Roles across the UK

Our headquarters are in London, but we’ve embraced remote and flexible working and our central team members are spread around the country.

Our frontline staff are based in our two specially designed centres of wellbeing – one in North Wales and one in Sussex – where they provide our beneficiaries with rehabilitation, training and respite care.

We also have a national network of community support teams who work with blind veterans in their own homes or their local areas.

Diverse opportunities

We have a wide range of roles at Blind Veterans UK, including positions in:

  • health and wellbeing, including nursing, rehabilitation and care
  • administration
  • finance
  • IT
  • human resources
  • fundraising
  • communications
  • marketing
  • operations, including facilities and hospitality

From our fundraisers to our frontline nurses, we’re one team on a clear mission. And we’re always on the lookout for talented people to join us.

A future-proof charity

At Blind Veterans UK, we are embarking on an ambitious transformation programme to guarantee our long-term prosperity and ensure that we can support our beneficiaries for years to come. It's a great time for those enthused by change to join our team and be part of our journey towards becoming a sustainable, future-proof charity.

Equality and inclusion

We are an equal opportunities employer. We strive to create a diverse, inclusive workplace, and welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds.

Hear from our employees

"I love seeing the impact my work has on blind veterans’ lives. Seeing a blind veteran do things that they never thought would have been possible is so rewarding. It’s a privilege to play a part in their lives and it’s wonderful that we both get so much out of it."
