Three generations of the Clark family are calling on other brave daredevils from across the country to sign up for an exciting Fire Walk across hot coals to raise funds for Blind Veterans UK.
86 year old grandmother Barbara Clark Mitchell from Deganwy, near Llandudno, has also persuaded her 56 year old son Andrew Clark and two grandchildren in their twenties, Andrew and Lucy, to take part.
The Fire Walk takes place on Saturday 8 November at the Blind Veterans UK centre on Queens Road in Llandudnoand is one of many exciting festive events planned for the charity's Winter Market and Family Fun Day.
Barbara volunteers at Blind Veterans UK's centre in Llandudno in a variety of roles including 'meeting and greeting', the 'knit and natter' group and helping with arts and crafts.
Barbara says: "Since retiring I've had more time to undertake exciting activities such as snorkelling and white water rafting. So fire walking is next on my list! If I can do it, I'm sure anyone can - so any daredevils out there like me and my family, sign up now and make a difference to the lives of blind veterans.
"As a volunteer I've seen first-hand the wonderful work that Blind Veterans UK does so I know how important this cause is. If you don't want to take part in the Fire Walk yourself, why not come along to the Winter Market and Family Fun Day."
Blind Veterans UK Regional Fundraiser, Victoria Beech says: "We love to be able to offer our supporters exciting ways to fundraise for us - what could be more exciting than over coming your fears and crossing a smouldering 15ft bed of hot coals?
"For anyone who is nervous about a Fire Walk, we will be running training sessions on the day to show people how to do it. Fire walking can really boost your confidence and give you a real sense of achievement whilst knowing that you're raising money to help blind ex-Service men and women."
