Blind Veterans UK will be hosting its first Tug of War competition, 'Tugger’s Challange’ at the garden party held at the Llandudno centre.
Blind Veterans UK will be hosting its first 'Tugger's Challenge', a Tug of War competition open to all people over the age of 18 wanting to test their physical strength, at the Llandudno centre on June 29th 2014.
This competition is just one of many activities that will take place at the Annual Garden Party. The winning team will be awarded an impressive barrel of beer and £200 worth of One4All vouchers.
All competition entrants will receive admission to the Garden Party for up to 2 adults and 2 children, a Blind Veterans UK T-Shirt and a medal.
Victoria Beech, Regional Fundraiser at Blind Veterans UK, said: "This event has been added to the Garden Party schedule to introduce an element of friendly competition to it. It is one of many new editions to the programme we are currently developing to ensure that this year's family friendly Garden Party is even bigger and better than last year's event, which included a Welsh Food and Craft Market, games, arts and crafts activities and other entertainment.
"If you and your friends are 18 years or over and looking for the chance to form a team - be it with your sports club, work friends or mates in the pub - and want to prove that you are North Wales' 'Toughest Tuggers', then this is the event for you!".
Submission for stall pitches as part of the Garden Party's Welsh Food and Craft Market are also open.
Only teams that have pre-registered will be able to compete, with registration closing 13th June.
