Blind Veterans UK member Ken Maidens carries the Paralympic Torch!

Congratulations to Blind Veterans UK member Ken Maidens who carried the London 2012 Paralympic torch in the relay on 29 August.
We would like to say congratulations to Blind Veterans UK member Ken Maidens who carried the London 2012 Paralympic torch as part of the Ribble Valley team, a group of five visually impaired people from the Lancashire County.
Ken, who served with the RAF for National Service, is Chairman of the Ribble Valley Visually Impaired Group and an active member of Blind Veterans, as well as raising money for a number of other visually impaired charities.
Ken and the Ribble Valley team carried the Paralympic flame through Westminster on 29th August, which started by Waterloo Bridge.
