Last week on Tuesday 28 November we took part in the International Day of Giving, known as #GivingTuesday.

In our headquarters staff baked lots of treats, dressed up in red, white and blue, and took part in various activities to raise money for our blind veterans.

We were glad to have a Momentous Photo Booth at our event. Our staff had lots of fun taking #GivingTuesday photos and they shared them straight to their social media.

A local restaurant, Firebrand Pizza, donated ten pizzas to help make our celebrations extra special and they were a very welcome edition.

We also held an Archive exhibition to showcase some of our amazing fundraising activities throughout the years, as well as a Research and Innovation stand, which demonstrated some of the cutting edge projects our charity is involved in.

At our Brighton centre our staff and vision-impaired ex-Service men and women dressed up, created special #GivingTuesday signs and also had fun with a photo booth of their own.

Overall the Day of Giving was a great success and it was wonderful to see our supporters getting involved and making donations, we managed to raise well over a thousand pounds.

Thank you to everyone who supported our charity.
