Hairdresser found for Charity Head shave

After a recent search throughout the UK for a hairdresser to assist in a charity head shave, a local Dwygyfylchi hairdresser has stepped forward in support of Blind Veterans UK.
Following last weeks shout out for a hairdresser to assist at Pam Wilner's charity head shave for Blind Veterans UK, local salon owner Clare Jones of Crimpers Dwygyfylchi has stepped forward to offer her services.
Clare said "When I read about Pam's challenge I felt real admiration for her. It will take at least 18months for Pam's hair to re-grow to its current length. As a hairdresser I recognise how your hair looks really affects how you feel - so when I read that Pam was willing to do this in the name of supporting Blind Veterans UK I wanted to do what I could to help. I will also organise for Pam's hair to be sent to the Children's Cancer Trust where it will be used to make wigs."
Pam is aiming to raise £3000 for the Llandundo Centre, where she has worked since it opened in 2011 to provide ex-service men and women suffering sight-loss access to vital training and support. If she reaches her £3000 target she will also shave her eyebrows.
The head shave is scheduled to take place at the Blind Veterans UK Llandudno Centre as part of an Open Day, Saturday 22rd February. The open day will run from 10:30am-3:30pm and visitors will be given the opportunity to win the chance to chop off Pam's ponytail before the head shave begins at 2:30pm.
