Paul and Richard from Irwin Mitchell visited our Sheffield Centre to present Blind Veterans UK with a cheque for £121.00 raised from their high dive tea party as part of our Tarts for Troops campaign.
On Thursday 15th August, the Blind Veterans UK Sheffield centre was delighted to welcome Paul Weston and Richard Shawcross from Irwin Mitchell LLP in Sheffield.
Paul and Richard visited the Sheffield Centre to present Blind Veterans UK with a cheque for £121.00 raised from their high dive tea party as part of our Tarts for Troops campaign. After tea and biscuits they were shown around the centre and were treated to demonstrations of the software and equipment used in a typical IT training lesson.
Irwin Mitchell have very kindly supported Blind Veterans UK for several years and Paul was pleased to see the IT Room that he helped renovate in 2011 was being put to such good use.
Richard took part in a high dive tea party as part of Blind Veterans UK's Tarts for Troops campaign, in which he took the plunge after enjoying tea and bakewell tarts on the highest diving board at Ponds Forge Leisure centre.
