Lachlan Nieboer's London Marathon update

Actor Lachlan Nieboer was inspired to run the marathon for Blind Veterans UK after researching the role of a blinded soldier for ITV's Downton Abbey.
Lachlan Nieboer is a talented young British actor who gave a moving portrayal of a soldier blinded by mustard gas during the First World War in the hit series Downtown Abbey. It was while he was researching the role of Lieutenant Cartwright that Lachlan encountered the work of Blind Veterans UK, and he has been a keen Ambassador for the charity ever since.
Despite a very busy acting schedule, Lachlan has set himself the bold task of running the London Marathon later this month to raise money and awareness for Blind Veterans UK. Read the latest instalment of his blog
