This Valentine’s Day let BFBS Radio play Cupid and help you send a special message over the airwaves.
This Valentine's Day let BFBS Radio play Cupid and help you send a special message over the airwaves.
If your loved one is in Afghanistan or anywhere in the Forces world, BFBS can broadcast a dedication on Thursday 14th February.
BFBS Radio listeners also have the chance to win one of two Sweet Heart Gift Boxes full of retro sweets, during the Ops Breakfast and Total Ops Connection on Monday 11th February.
The prizes are from BoxHappy.com, so presenters will have a box containing three clues to the identity of a mystery funny man. Two correct answers will be drawn during the Total Ops Connection and the treats will be delivered in time for Valentine's Day.
BFBS Radio has many other ways to set hearts aflutter, from a simple message posted on our website, to a personal request for 'your' song.
If your beloved is in Afghanistan, contact the Total Ops Connection, broadcast from Camp Bastion every weekday and on Thursday 14th February from 10am - 1pm UK time.
Declare your love via text 07740 377 377 - starting the message with OPS then a space - email a message to firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone the BFBS studio direct on 01494 878782. There's even an option to record an audio message on your smartphone via the BFBS app.
You can also send a heartfelt dedication to our special Access All Areas programme a few days earlier on Sunday 10th February from 10am - 2pm UK time. Email email@example.com or text 07740 377 377 - starting your text with AAA and a space - or phone 01494 848001.
And if training exercises or deployments are keeping you far apart this February, send lots of love via BFBS on our website at www.bfbs.com/messages or record your own message by calling 01494 372786.
