7 August 2013 16:25
Bravely supporting Blind Veterans UK, Anthony, Ian and Richard clocked in at a remarkable 1 hr, 50 mins and 27 seconds.
Anthony Callachan, Ian Nicholls and Richard Holmes completed a gruelling London Triathlon 2013 in aid of Blind Veterans UK.
They bravely ran, cycled and swam to raise funds for a cause they hold very much at heart.
Following the race, Anthony Callachan reported:
During the race we all put in a reasonable swim time with Richard Holmes coming out of the pool first followed by myself and Ian Nicholls. On the bikes, Ian and I caught up with Richard but in the process lost a lot of energy which would show in the run phase.
Anthony also expressed his delight at the crowds being so supportive of all the competitors' efforts throughout, cheering them on even with the threat of a thunder storm looming.
Anthony, Ian and Richard clocked in at a remarkable 1 hr, 50 mins and 27 seconds.
We at Blind Veterans UK are very proud of you and thank you heartily for supporting our cause of improving the lives of blind veterans and their families.
