Sixth form students gave the proceeds to Blind Veterans UK which was generated from a small admission fee of £1.50. Victoria Beech, Regional Fundraiser for Blind Veterans UK attended the event and expressed "It was lovely to see the sixth form students putting the youngsters at ease and encouraging them to mix with one-another. I'm sure the event will have gone a long way in smoothing the transition the new intake will undergo in September".
