Meet our superstar fundraiser Seb! Eight-year-old Seb and his dad were one of the many who took part in our March for Veterans challenge in Brighton earlier this year. Seb went above and beyond and raised over £700 in sponsorship for taking part in the 10 mile walk back in March. If that isn’t amazing, we don’t know what is!
Never one to shy away from a challenge, superstar Seb said that he "loved it" and that taking part in the walk "meant helping people who can’t see and giving them a chance to be supported and experience everything that everyone else does in life."
His Dad, who has worked with the charity for 8 years, says: “We have all been amazed at how much Seb managed to raise. Every donation he received made him smile as he knew each pound would mean so much to one of the veterans at Blind Veterans UK.
"Seb loves helping anyone in any way he can and he so when he heard about it he couldn’t wait to start! He wanted to do it again the next day, although personally I’m quite thankful we didn’t have to!"Seb's dad
The good news for Seb and his dad is that there will be an opportunity to do it again! Details for March for Veterans 2020 has officially dropped, and we’re now planning more walks than ever all over the UK.
That means your opportunity to become a superstar fundraiser like Seb has arrived. Find your local March and join #TeamBlindVeteransUK. By taking part you'll be helping us raise vital funds for our blind veterans.
