Three North Wales people egged on to break the World Record!

A team of three in Llandudno will be attempting to beat the World Record for an Egg and Spoon race, which currently stands at 19:39 seconds in 100 meters, in aid of Blind Veterans UK.

A team of three in Llandudno will be attempting to beat the World Record for an Egg and Spoon race, which currently stands at 19:39 seconds in 100 meters, in aid of Llandudno charity Blind Veterans UK.

Tom Bestwick and Terrie Bolderson from TNC Catering and Niki Green from Blind Veterans UK will make the attempt on Wednesday 8th August from 9:30am on the Promenade front in Llandudno creating their very own Olympian event for spectators to enjoy. Check out their promotional video

Tom Bestwick said "Going for a Guinness World Record hasn't always been a childhood dream, however when I found out that I could combine something that I love (running, not egg and spoon racing) and raise money for a great cause I jumped at the chance".

Not only are they trying to break the World Record but they are raising money for Blind Veterans UK - http://www.justgiving.com/tom-bestwick-GWR a charity supporting vision impaired ex- Service men and women.
