Does it matter if I haven’t shot before or have little experience?
Not at all, we welcome all levels and have experts on hand to offer advice and tips for everyone taking part. We want everyone to embrace the activity and have an enjoyable day out.
Does it matter if I don’t have a firearm?
No, the venue will supply all equipment including safety goggles and ear defenders.
Can I bring my own firearm?
Of course, we can even offer a gun cleaning service while you enjoy lunch for a donation of £20. Please note, you must inform your instructor with what calibre firearm you have for the right cartridge to be used.
Do I need a shotgun license?
No, participation is covered by the venue and a health and safety form will be required to fill out on the day.
What should I wear?
We advise sturdy footwear due to the terrain and comfortable sporting attire. Depending on the weather a raincoat may be advisable.
I have a few dietary requirements that need catering for. Is this possible?
Of course, no problem. Please let the Events team know as soon as you can.
I would like to attend but can't confirm my team yet. Is this alright?
Of course, we understand that rallying the troops can take time and we will hold your team reservation. Please note, full confirmation is not possible until payment has been received.
Do we need cash on the day?
The venue is a little remote and far from a cash machine. We advise you to bring cash although we do have portable card machines if needed. We wouldn’t want you to miss out participating in the sweep stake, joker card and gun cleaning service among other activities.
What happens if Government restrictions result in the event being postponed?
We are taking and monitoring all of the necessary measures to ensure we and our guests and staff are safe. If public gathering guidance changes, we have another date in the diary later in the year to host the event. Funds can be transferred and no repeat RSVP form will be necessary unless your team members change.
