Sadly we can't get everyone together for our March for Veterans series just yet, so we have gathered all the tools and resources you need to host your own!
Your walk can be as long or short as you like. Simply gather your support bubble and lace up your walking boots! If you need any help or support, our fantastic events team is on standby whenever you need them.
How do I start to plan my own March for Veterans?
It’s honestly not as scary as it may seem at first. Firstly, we ask you to register with us to let us know you’re organising a March for Veterans. This just means that we can stay in touch with you and provide you with everything you need to plan your walk and fundraise for our blind veterans.
Next you will need to think about where and when. March for Veterans walks are usually 10km as a guide but really it’s entirely up to you! All we ask is that you adhere to current COVID-19 restrictions for your area.
After you have registered, we’ll send you a March for Veterans pack which will include an extensive range of resources, checklists and lots of tips and advice to help you plan your walk and smash your fundraising!
We’ll also put you in touch with your events representative who will be on hand to advise you about fundraising ideas and local promotion. The March for Veterans team are always here if you have any questions at all.
See? We told you it wasn’t scary.
