Following recent government announcements around Coronavirus (COVID-19), all Blind Veterans UK organised fundraising events which were scheduled to take place before August have been postponed until later in the year.

Our Virtual events are not affected and will continue as planned. We will be contacting individual participants directly about this but anyone who has specific questions about a particular event should contact fundraising@blindveterans.org.uk

For the latest information on Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the actions we are taking to support our blind veterans, please visit our COVID-19 page.

We need your help

Amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are focusing on ensuring the safety of veterans, staff, volunteers and supporters, whilst continuing to provide outstanding services to visually impaired ex-Service men and women.

We cannot do our work without your help. The necessary restrictions brought in by the Government mean we can no longer fundraise through our community and national events like the London Marathon. This has affected our regular income that goes into funding the services we provide to our veterans.

Here are some simple ways in which you can keep providing your support:

Donate by phone

Please call 0300 111 2233 to make a donation over the phone with your debit or credit card.

Text to donate

Another option to donate to Blind Veterans UK these days is through your mobile phone.
Text Yes to 78866 to give £5 via your mobile phone bill. Your text will be charged at £5 plus one message at your standard network rate (based on your service provider rates). Read our Terms and Conditions for more information.

There is no limit on the number of times you may make a donation via text, but there is a daily limit of £30 on text donations. You will not be able to donate more by text from the same number on the same day, but you may still incur your standard network message charge if you try.

Donations by post

Due to recent government advice our London Office is currently not open. We have put in place measures to ensure that we will still be able to handle all your kind donations, including those that you send through post.

However, it would really help us out if you could donate online instead. You can also set up a regular gift should you wish to do so.
