Poppy Project 2019

Knit, crotchet and stitch to help our beautiful tribute to the fallen grow.

Poppy Field Project

Date: 09 September - 21 October 2019
Location: Nationwide
Registration fee: £5

For the past 3 years volunteers, veterans and supporters have worked together to create a tribute to the fallen – a blanket of poppies.

Using patterns contained within our kit, Poppies are knitted and crocheted to create a beautiful display outside our Llandudno Centre during our annual Military Week.

We are looking for individuals and groups to support us in making this tribute even bigger for 2019.

Register to take part and you will receive a pack containing;

  • Patterns to create both knitted and crocheted poppies.
  • Enough wool to complete one poppy project.
  • Home collection box* to help you collect donations from family and friends who wish to support you in supporting us.
  • A ‘Remember the Fallen’ note card for you to add your own personal message to be included in our Poppy Field Book of Remembrance.

Your poppy will be included in the display at our Llandudno Centre, which will raise funds for Blind Veterans UK during our Military Week 4th-10th November.

Sign up by the 28th October to give enough time to complete your poppy and return it to be added to the display.

Registration £5 - Sign up for your pack now.
