How gift in Wills help
Blind Veterans UK make a lifetime commitment to give ex-Service men and women, the invaluable practical and emotional support they need to discover life beyond blindness. This is why gifts in Wills are so crucial because they allow us to plan for our future and in turn theirs, with wise investments in services, properties and support teams.
"We are determined that blind veterans receive the finest quality of services and equipment. Legacies are at the core of helping us achieve that. That is why I am giving a gift in my Will."
Ray Hazan OBE, President of Blind Veterans UK
Leaving a legacy is a deeply personal and special decision. This is why we promise that if you choose to leave a legacy with us that your gift will be used where it can have the most impact on blind or vision-impaired veterans’ lives in a cost effective manner.
Legacies make up 50% of our voluntary income – they are vital to our work. Last year we welcomed over 800 new beneficiaries and we expect this number to increase every year which is why your legacy is so important to us.
Our innovative training and rehabilitation centres in Brighton, Sheffield and Llandudno, North Wales and our local community projects teach blind veterans vital skills that help them lead full and independent lives. The support we offer is free, tailored and for life.
A legacy pledge will provide all our future blind veterans with a lifeline for many years to come.
