Worcester Fire Walk Challenge
Could you be a brave ‘sole’ and take on this challenge for Blind Veterans UK?
Date: Saturday 28 April
Location: New College Worcester
Registration: £10 (group and family rates available)
Registration for our Fire Walk Challenge Worcester has opened and we are looking for ‘brave soles’ of all ages to take part.
Walk 15 feet over smouldering hot coals in a bid to raise vital funds to support our work with Blind Veterans. The temperature can be as hot as 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. To put this into perspective paper combusts at 451 degrees and aluminium melts at 1100 degrees.
You will receive 1 hours training from world renown event providers UK Fire Walk before undertaking the challenge, ensuring that all you are left with is a sense of achievement and a belief that anything is possible.
See highlights of previous fire walks with Blind Veterans UK here.
The activity is fully risk assessed and open to ages 8 years and over.
Those wishing to take part are asked to pay a £10 registration fee and pledge to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. Team and family entry is available.
