The Royal Marines are back for a third year to give you the opportunity to descend via a zip wire from the Blind Veterans UK centre in Brighton.

It’s 120 feet high – but don’t worry you will be in safe hands!
This is the third year that we have been able to offer you the chance to zip wire from one of Brighton’s most iconic buildings.
Join us on either Saturday 21 or Sunday 22 April 2018 with the option to choose a morning or afternoon slot.
Your zip wire slot time will be confirmed in your welcome pack.
Our building celebrates its 80th birthday this year so why not join us in this landmark year.
We are very happy to offer a group discount for parties/groups 10 people or over. Please call our Brighton fundraising office to discuss further on 01273 391455.
The registration fee you pay goes towards the cost of your place in the event, we rely on your sponsorship to raise money for blind veterans. By registering for one of our places you agree to raise a minimum sponsorship of £30.

Maximum weight: 16 stone
Minimum age: 10
Registration will be in our chapel where refreshments will be served.
Please encourage your friends and family to cheer you on.
There is limited on-site parking which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Free on street parking is also available in Greenways.
Please read through our recommendations.
Wear comfortable clothing which is suitable for the time of year.
Please only wear denim if it does not restrict your movements.
Waterproof jacket and trousers.
Bring an extra jumper.
Warm hat/ sun hat (whichever is applicable).
No skirts or dresses.
If wearing fancy dress, then please ensure that there are no lose items of clothing. Also take into consideration that you will be fitted into a harness.
Trainers/ pumps/ walking boots are ideal- laces need to be tied.
Please do not wear open toe sandals, flip flops, wellies or footwear with heels.
Tablets, inhaler etc.
Only exceptionally high winds or lightning will stop the zip wire so please ensure that you are prepared for rain.
