Home Visitor: Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire

Time Commitment
A few hours weekly or fortnightly
Location
Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire

We are looking for a volunteer to visit our Army veteran turned blacksmith based in Bourton-on-the-Water. Prior to losing his sight, he had a great interest in clock repairs, but now contents himself with his garden. He would benefit hugely from a volunteer who could visit him for a chat or take him out and about in the local area to help improve his confidence.

A friendly and positive outlook with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and relationship boundaries are key to this role. We will give you the necessary training, induction and support to be confident and enjoy your volunteering. We will also pay mileage for any miles you cover during your volunteering.

If you could spare a few hours to spend some time with this lovely gentleman, we would really like to hear from you.
