Home Visitor: Pembroke, Dyfed

Time Commitment
A few hours a week or fortnight
Pembroke, Dyfed

We are looking for a positive and friendly volunteer to visit our veteran based in Pembroke. Having served in the General Services Corps in Cyprus, Gaza and Egypt, our veteran then returned to the UK and, following a second career in a fertiliser plant, took to the stage as a choir singer! Now in his late 80s, he still has a great love of music but suffers from some loneliness. He would benefit hugely from a volunteer who could visit him in his home to provideĀ conversation and company.

A friendly and positive outlook with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and relationship boundaries are key to this role. We will give you the necessary training, induction and support to be confident and enjoy your volunteering. We will also pay mileage for any miles you cover during your volunteering.

If you could spare a few hours to spend some time with this lovely gentleman, we would really like to hear from you.
