Blind Veterans UK is looking for a volunteer to visit one of our members. A Royal Army Service Corps veteran living near Newton Abbott who along with his small dog is desperate to get out and about and enjoy the beautiful, surrounding countryside. After his service he worked on the land in the agricultural industry, which he loved however now finds himself rarely leaving his house. He would love from someone to be able to drive him out to some of the local, picturesque spots and join him and his little dog for short walks.

A friendly and positive outlook with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and relationship boundaries are key to this role. We will give you the necessary training, induction and support to be confidentand enjoy your volunteering. We will also pay mileage for any miles you cover during your volunteering.
