We are proud to feature as a Microsoft customer story that talks about how we have used Microsoft Teams to find new ways to support our blind veterans and keep them connected.

The film features blind veterans Nick and Billy and showcases how we have adapted to allow our blind veterans to connect in new ways and how Microsoft Teams has made that possible.

Filmed at our Centre of Wellbeing in Llandudno earlier this year it focusses on keen photographer Nick and how he has used Teams to connect with fellow blind veterans with a passion for photography.

Nick says: "Microsoft Teams is so easy to access. We have Members throughout the country of different ages and different stages of sight loss. And they can all connect to Teams."

Making the most of technology has always been an important part of our veterans' rehabilitation journey and the new ways of keeping connected through Teams is the latest part of that.

"Using Teams enables people with sight loss. It gives us the eyes to see the world. Peer support is possibly one of the most significant parts of the rehabilitation process for someone with sight loss or impaired vision. And Teams can be a key part of that process."
