New Member Ambassadors Scheme

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Member Ambassador Scheme, giving Members the opportunity to represent Blind Veterans UK and help raise awareness of the challenges of living with sight loss.

No one can represent the charity quite like our own Members. That’s why we’re looking for inspiring individuals who are willing to share their experiences and help spread the word about Blind Veterans UK.

We have a number of different Member Ambassador roles available, offering opportunities to get involved in ways that suit your interests and experience: 

National Ambassadors – Trained public speakers who share their own experiences of sight loss at our military dinners and other events. 

Standard Bearers and Buglers – Help uphold military tradition and represent Blind Veterans UK at events throughout the year. 

We are currently recruiting for a limited number of Members for roles located near the following areas: 

Edinburgh, Cardiff, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Rustington, Belfast, Nottingham, London, Swindon, Portsmouth, and Plymouth. 

Initial recruitment is open until 13 March 2026.
