Gift Aid your donation

Make your generous donation go even further with Gift Aid.

It will only take a few moments, and it could go towards changing another blind veteran's life.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a type of tax relief. If you are a UK taxpayer, it adds 25% to the value of your donation, at no extra cost to you. All you need to do is make a Gift Aid declaration.

How to make a Gift Aid declaration

You can fill in the form below, or give us a call on 0300 111 2233. You only need to make a declaration once, and there's no extra paper work. We will keep your declaration to cover the previous four years, the current year and any donations you might make to us in the future.

Who is eligible?

As long as you have paid enough tax over the year to cover the donations you have made, you are eligible to make a Gift Aid declaration.

If your tax status changes, or you change your mind, you can withdraw your declaration at anytime by calling us on 0300 111 2233.

My Gift Aid declaration

My declaration

Gift Aid is reclaimed by Blind Veterans UK from the tax you pay for the current tax year.

I would like to Gift Aid my donation and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past four years to Blind Veterans UK. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less income tax and/or capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Blind Veterans UK will claim 25p on every £1 donated.
