About Elizabeth
Born in Staines, Elizabeth studied at Reading University before joining the Land Army and the Women's Auxiliary Air Force. In this interview she talks about her wartime experiences, including training in London and her work at Bletchley Park. Elizabeth also discusses her life after the war, including living in the Gold Coast and in Germany.
Elizabeth joined Blind Veterans UK in 2015 after having lost her sight.
