Meet Benjamin
Our challengers may differ in how they decide to push themselves but they all have one thing in common - the determination to support our blind veterans.
Benjamin, whose great grandfather was supported by Blind Veterans UK, took on the National Three Peaks Challenge. He conquered the UK's three highest peaks - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - in just 23 hours and 53 minutes!
"With one mountain to go, I was cutting it fine. I had to run the final stretch to the finish line and made it by the skin of my teeth with just seven minutes to spare. The challenge was brutal and tested the limits of my physical and mental capabilities – but it was worth it! It means so much to me to have completed this challenge - not only to honour my grandpa, but to also ensure support for many more blind veterans like him."
Benjamin's efforts raised over £2,000.
